Seven and the Ragged Tiger finds Duran Duran at a crossroads of their new wave sophistication and rock ambition, blending atmospheric textures with catchy hooks that invite focused listening. Tracks like "The Reflex" and "Union of the Snake" highlight the band's knack for crafting danceable yet intricately layered songs, while "Tiger Tiger" offers a more introspective, almost cinematic moment. The album's blend of sleek production and a compact ensemble approach marks a distinct chapter in their catalog, where polished pop meets a slightly darker edge. This 1983 vinyl pressing delivers those tracks in a format that suits the album’s detailed arrangements—perfect for listeners who appreciate the subtle interplay beneath the surface pop sheen. The record is in VG++ condition, meaning the vinyl is glossy and very clean, with only minor, faint marks that are unlikely to affect playback. For those arranging their collection, it slots neatly alongside other focused listening records, offering both a familiar touchstone and enough nuance to keep spinning beyond the hits. If you’ve ever wondered whether "The Reflex" would sound better in the hands of a vintage turntable, here’s your chance to find out without the usual guesswork.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
