Boney M.- Nightflight To Venus-LP

• Format: LP

Nightflight To Venus stands as Boney M.’s vibrant 1978 album where disco rhythms meet storytelling flair, featuring tracks like “Rasputin” and “Brown Girl In The Ring” that blend catchy melodies with a theatrical touch. The album’s approach leans into a focused listening experience with an acoustic ensemble feel beneath its danceable surface, offering more depth than a mere disco party record. It’s a snapshot of late ’70s pop culture from a group that knew how to mix playful narratives with irresistible grooves—sometimes the story’s as colorful as the beats. This 1978 pressing captures that era’s energy on vinyl with a glossy finish and very clean surfaces, showing only minor, faint marks typical of gentle use but nothing that should distract from playback. The VG++ condition means you can expect clear sound without obvious noise or distortion. For those who appreciate a pressing from the original timeframe, this copy presents the album in a format that’s as much a part of its character as the songs themselves. After all, few things say “nightflight” like spinning disco on a real 12-inch.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
