Bruce Springsteen – The Wild The Innocent and the E Street Shuffle

The Wild, the Innocent & the E Street Shuffle is Bruce Springsteen’s second studio album, originally released in 1973 on Columbia and cut with the E Street Band during his early Asbury Park-era run. It’s an important early chapter because it shows Springsteen stretching beyond his debut, with the band identity coming further into focus and the long-form, street-level storytelling that would become central to his work. The album was recorded at 914 Sound Studios in Blauvelt, New York, with Mike Appel and Jim Cretecos producing. This copy is a 1980 reissue on vintage vinyl, priced at $18.00, making it a nice way to get an early Springsteen title without stepping into higher-ticket territory. The record is graded VG++, a strong, glossy grade where only very small light marks, faint sleeve scuffs, or minor lines would be expected, with no major condition concerns implied.
