The Beatles- 1st Live Recordings Vol 1-LP

The Beatles – 1st Live Recordings Vol 1

The Beatles’ 1st Live Recordings Vol 1 has its appeal in the raw document it preserves: live Star-Club performances captured before the material became part of the band’s heavily polished official story. The recordings were made by Adrian Barber, the Star-Club stage manager, after Kingsize Taylor of Kingsize Taylor and the Dominoes asked him to tape the performances on a Grundig recorder. That back-room origin is a big part of why this set remains interesting to Beatles listeners who want more than the familiar studio albums. This is a 1979 vintage vinyl pressing priced at $20. The record is graded NM, with glossy, clean vinyl that looks almost untouched and no visible lines, scuffs, or sleeve marks noted. For a Beatles live-document piece, the clean vinyl grade is the strongest reason to consider this copy.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
