Buddy Greco’s My Buddy offers a rich dive into focused, intimate jazz, showcased through a compact ensemble that lets his vocal and piano work shine without distraction. The album blends familiar standards like "Misty," "The Lady Is A Tramp," and "Cheek To Cheek" with Greco’s warm phrasing and subtle swing, crafting an inviting mood that suits quiet evenings or attentive listening sessions. It’s the kind of set where the small ensemble setting feels less like a backdrop and more like a conversation—one where every note counts. This vinyl pressing comes in good, fully playable condition, though you can expect some signs of use typical for its grade, including minor surface noise. Without exact pressing details, it fits neatly into collections valuing musical intimacy over pressing pedigree. The straightforward acoustic lineup and the selection of timeless tunes make it a dependable choice for those who appreciate jazz that favors nuance over spectacle. If your shelves have a spot for a record that speaks softly but clearly, this one might just find its way there.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
