Commodores- Midnight Magic-LP

Commodores – Midnight Magic

Midnight Magic found the Commodores in a major late-1970s moment, arriving in 1979 as the group’s seventh studio album. The album earned a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Performance by a Duo, Group or Chorus, and it was certified Gold in the UK. James Anthony Carmichael, a key longtime collaborator with the band, helped produce the record alongside the Commodores. Musically, it lands in the group’s funk, soul, and disco-era territory, making this 1979 Commodores vinyl LP a strong snapshot of their Motown-era crossover appeal. At under $15, this is an affordable vintage vinyl copy of Midnight Magic with plenty of buyer appeal. This 1979 vinyl pressing is graded VG++, meaning the record is glossy and very clean overall, with only very small light marks, sleeve scuffs, or faint lines expected.
