Dave "Baby" Cortez's In Orbit invites listeners into a concentrated session of acoustic interplay, where the blend of focused listening meets a small ensemble’s intimate dynamics. Tracks like "Count Down Part I" and "My Sweet Baby Part I" offer a chance to appreciate nuanced musicianship without the usual studio gloss, making the album a thoughtful exploration rather than background noise. The title itself hints at a musical journey beyond the ordinary, one where subtle shifts and grooves matter as much as the notes themselves. This 1966 pressing comes on vinyl in very clean condition, showing only faint surface marks that won’t distract from playback. For those who prefer their records with a bit of history but without the hassle of heavy wear, this copy fits nicely. It’s the kind of record where the listening demands a bit of orbit around the grooves, rewarding patience with a quietly compelling set of performances.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
