Frankie Valli – Lady Put The Light Out

Lady Put The Light Out catches Frankie Valli at the tail end of his Private Stock Records period, arriving in November 1977 as his final album for the label before its closure in early 1978. The set mixes originals with covers, including “Native New Yorker,” later popularized by Odyssey, and places Valli’s pop-soul side in a late-’70s disco/soul setting. Charles Calello produced the album, adding a meaningful Four Seasons connection through one of Valli’s important solo-career collaborators. This copy is a 1977 vinyl pressing priced at $10, making it an affordable Frankie Valli record with good period appeal. The vinyl is graded VG+, so expect a strong everyday copy with a few light lines, sleeve marks, or small scuffs possible, but not wear that should dominate the music.
