Genesis’s Invisible Touch marked a peak in the band’s 1980s evolution, bringing their blend of rock and pop rock to a broad audience with tracks like "Invisible Touch" and "Tonight, Tonight, Tonight." The album balances polished production—co-produced by Hugh Padgham and engineered by Bob Ludwig—with Tony Banks’s distinctive synth textures, framing a sound that feels both accessible and intricately arranged. Its artwork by John Swannell adds a sleek visual identity that complements the music’s precise, focused listening experience without veering into the overly ornate. This 1986 pressing offers a solid vinyl presentation with very clean surfaces showing only minor paper scuffs and faint lines typical for its age, making it a dependable choice for those who appreciate clear sound and a tactile connection to this era of Genesis. The record’s condition suggests it’s been well cared for, suitable for anyone adding a well-known chapter of ’80s rock to their collection. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to hear Genesis’s meticulous craftsmanship without digital mediation, this copy invites you to experience it firsthand—proof that even the most polished pop can have a sturdy spine.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
