The New Favorites Of George Jones offers a collection that highlights the singer’s gift for heartfelt storytelling through songs like "Trouble in Mind" and "A Little Bitty Tear." This 1962 release sits comfortably alongside artists such as Hank Williams and Merle Haggard, reflecting a tradition of country music that favors acoustic instrumentation and intimate vocal delivery. It’s an album for those who appreciate focused listening, where each song unfolds with a sense of straightforward emotional honesty rather than studio gloss. This pressing from 1962 arrives on vinyl in a condition suitable for regular play, with some light surface marks typical of a record that’s been enjoyed but well cared for. The grooves remain clean enough to keep George Jones’s voice front and center without distraction. If your collection leans toward classic country’s quieter moments, this record fits neatly on the shelf and in the listening routine—proving that sometimes the best new favorites are the ones that feel comfortably familiar.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
