Walt Disney's Trick Or Treat - Stories And Songs Of Halloween offers a charming blend of storytelling and music designed for attentive listening. The album brings together the voices of Ginny Tyler and Thurl Ravenscroft in an intimate acoustic setting that suits quiet evenings and focused moments rather than party atmospheres. While the exact original release details remain a mystery, this 1974 vinyl pressing provides a slice of nostalgic whimsy that fits nicely alongside other thematic collections, especially for those drawn to classic Disney storytelling with a seasonal twist. It’s like a cozy campfire tale, only with a needle and groove instead of marshmallows. This particular copy comes in a solid VG+ grade, which means it’s ready for regular play with only minor surface marks and light scuffs that shouldn’t interfere with the listening experience. The pressing year places it well within the era when vinyl was a dominant format, and its acoustic focus makes it a subtle standout among more produced Halloween-themed records. If you’re after something that leans toward storytelling and mood rather than bombast, this pressing balances character with clarity. It’s the kind of record that doesn’t just set a scene—it invites you to settle in and listen closely, as any good story should. Ginny Tyler / Thurl Ravenscroft.
