Christmas With McGriff offers a distinctive take on holiday music through the lens of Jimmy McGriff’s jazz organ mastery. Known for his soulful touch and groove-driven style, McGriff turns the festive spirit into an intimate acoustic session, with “Christmas With McGriff Part 1” and “Part 2” showcasing his ability to blend focused listening with a warm, laid-back vibe. It’s a niche entry that stands apart from your usual seasonal fare, perfect for those who appreciate a quieter, more nuanced celebration of the season. This 1963 pressing brings that unique mood to vinyl, capturing the era’s analog charm. The record is graded VG+, indicating it plays well with only minor surface marks or light paper scuffs that won’t overshadow the music’s subtle textures. For collectors or listeners intrigued by holiday albums that don’t shout over the crowd, this copy balances sound quality with a straightforward presentation. It’s the kind of record that quietly reminds you, sometimes less is more—even in a season known for excess.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
