Loretta Lynn – Honky Tonk Heroes

Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn’s Honky Tonk Heroes came out on MCA in 1978, well into their successful run as a country duet team. The album mixes newer material with earlier recordings, including “We’ve Made It Legal” and “How High Can You Build A Fire,” giving it a nice cross-section of their honky tonk partnership. Owen Bradley’s producer credit also ties the record to a deep Nashville studio tradition. This is a 1978 vinyl pressing priced at $10, making it an affordable copy of a Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty country LP with solid album context behind it. The record is graded VG++, a very clean used-vinyl grade: glossy overall, with only very small light marks, sleeve scuffs, or faint lines expected. For the price and grade, this is a pleasing way to bring home one of their MCA-era duet albums.
