Norman Connors’ Passion offers a refined listening experience centered on acoustic interplay, inviting comparisons to the smooth grooves of Ramsey Lewis and the soulful sophistication of the Crusaders. The album’s focused approach blends subtle rhythms and warm melodies, with tracks like "I Am Your Melody" and "Heaven In Your Eyes" unfolding in a way that rewards attentive ears. It’s a record that suits those who appreciate nuanced small-ensemble jazz without the distractions of flashy production. This 1988 vinyl pressing presents the album in a clean and glossy state, with only minor surface marks that should have little impact on playback. The format highlights the intimate feel of the music, making it easy to slot alongside other late ’80s jazz releases or acoustic-focused collections. If your shelves lean toward thoughtful, well-crafted sessions that invite you to settle in, this copy of Passion fits comfortably without calling too much attention to itself—just like the kind of music Norman Connors is known for.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
