Eye in the Sky stands as one of The Alan Parsons Project’s most polished and conceptually cohesive albums, blending meticulous engineering with lush orchestration under the direction of conductor and orchestrator Andrew Powell. Engineered and produced by Alan Parsons himself, this 1982 release weaves focused listening experiences through tracks like "Sirius," "Eye In The Sky," and "Old And Wise," balancing synthesizer-driven textures with acoustic elements and a carefully managed chorus led by Robert Howes. The album’s thematic interplay between technology and human emotion unfolds with a precision that invites both attentive study and casual enjoyment—a record that rewards more than one spin, even if your neighbors might start to wonder about your newfound fascination with the phrase "Psychobabble." This vintage pressing from 1982 offers a vinyl surface that’s glossy and very clean, with only minor, faint marks typical of its age but no serious flaws to interrupt playback. The record’s VG++ condition means it’s ready to deliver the layered arrangements and articulate production the album is known for without distraction. A well-preserved copy like this is a solid choice for anyone looking to add a classic early ’80s progressive pop album to their collection, especially when the engineering pedigree behind the scenes is as notable as the music itself. If your shelves are feeling too quiet, "Step By Step" might just be the soundtrack to get them talking.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
