Isaac Hayes- Live At The Sahara Tahoe-LP

• Format: LP

Isaac Hayes’ Live At The Sahara Tahoe offers a rare window into the soul titan’s commanding stage presence and expansive sound, blending focused listening with the intimacy of an acoustic ensemble. The album showcases Hayes’ rich interpretations of tracks like "Theme From Shaft," "Never Can Say Goodbye," and "Use Me," balancing his signature deep grooves with moments of spoken word in "Ike's Rap V" and "Ike's Rap VI." This live set stands apart in his catalog by putting a spotlight on how his music translates in a concert setting, where the energy is as palpable as the arrangements. This 1973 pressing brings that experience to vinyl collectors who appreciate a vintage touch without the pitfalls of excessive wear. Graded VG+, it carries the expected light surface marks and minor paper scuffs but remains a solid choice for everyday listening. After all, few records invite you to “do your thing” quite like this one—on stage or spinning at home.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
