The Alan Parsons Project – I Robot

I Robot gave The Alan Parsons Project a smart science-fiction framework early in its catalog, drawing on Isaac Asimov’s Robot stories and themes of artificial intelligence. Released by Arista in 1977, it’s the group’s second studio album and one of their best-known concept records. The Abbey Road recording and mixing connection adds to the appeal, while tracks like “I Wouldn’t Want to Be Like You” and “Breakdown” show the project’s blend of prog-minded structure and polished rock accessibility. The robot cover art ties neatly into the concept, making the whole package feel very much of its moment. This copy is a 1977 UK import vinyl pressing priced at $28. The record is graded NM, with vinyl that looks almost untouched: glossy, clean, and with no visible lines, scuffs, or sleeve marks noted. For a clean vintage UK import of I Robot, the condition is the strongest reason to pay attention here.
