The Hunt – Back On The Hunt

Back On The Hunt is a hard-driving, guitar-fronted record from Canadian rock band The Hunt, whose lineup was largely made up of musicians from Dillinger. Issued on Visa Records and produced by the band themselves, it has the appeal of a group steering its own heavy rock direction rather than smoothing the edges too much. The album features ten original tracks and leans into AOR and hard rock without losing the band’s Canadian rock roots. It was not a major commercial success in the U.S., which gives it some under-the-radar appeal for listeners digging beyond the usual arena-rock names. This is a 1980 vinyl pressing priced at $12. The record is graded VG++, a glossy, very clean grade with only very small light marks, sleeve scuffs, or faint lines expected.
