Yer' Album by The James Gang captures a raw snapshot of late-60s rock with a distinctive twist: each side ends in locked grooves featuring Joe Walsh’s voice urging you to “Turn me over” and “Play me again.” Recorded at The Hit Factory in New York City and produced by Bill Szymczyk, who also adds some instrumental and vocal color, the album blends originals with covers like Buffalo Springfield’s “Bluebird” and the Yardbirds’ “Lost Woman.” This is the only James Gang record featuring bassist Tom Kriss before Dale Peters took over, marking a unique moment in the band’s lineup history. This 1969 pressing arrives on vinyl with a full stereo mix, offering a tactile connection to the era when rock was still finding its footing in the studio. If you like your rock with a side of clever physical quirks and a dash of vintage studio atmosphere, this pressing delivers both sound and character worthy of a spot on your shelf. After all, not every record talks back quite like this one. Yer' Album - Vinyl, LP, Album, Stereo.
