Cream – Goodbye Cream
Cream’s Goodbye is the band’s farewell-era album, released in February 1969 after the trio had already split, which gives its mix of live and studio material real end-of-chapter weight. The set pairs live Forum recordings of “I’m So Glad,” “Politician,” and “Sitting On Top Of The World” with studio cuts including “Badge,” co-written by Eric Clapton and George Harrison, with Harrison also adding rhythm guitar under the name L’Angelo Misterioso. It was a major Cream release on both sides of the Atlantic, reaching the top of the UK album chart and number two in the US. This copy is a 1969 Indianapolis vinyl pressing priced at $26.00, a nice vintage match for an album from the band’s final stretch. The record is graded VG++, a strong used-vinyl grade that points to glossy, very clean vinyl with only very small light marks, faint lines, or sleeve scuffs expected. Goodbye Cream.
