Not On The Outside, But On The Inside, Strong! by The Moments stands out as a soulful statement from 1969, blending heartfelt vocals with the thoughtful songwriting of Larry Roberts and Sylvia Robinson. The album’s intimate acoustic ensemble supports tracks like "Love On A Two-Way Street" and "Somebody Loves You, Baby," offering a focused listening experience that reveals the depth behind its smooth melodies and rich harmonies. The artwork by Larry Newman adds a subtle visual touch that complements the album’s warm yet earnest mood, making it a distinctive entry in the Stang Records catalog. This pressing from 1969 arrives on Stang Records in stereo, presenting the album on vinyl with a condition suitable for regular play. Expect some light surface marks and minor paper scuffs typical for a VG+ grade, but nothing that should interfere with the music’s clarity or presence. The Moments’ blend of soul and funk here fits neatly into any collection seeking that late ’60s groove, with a pressing that holds up well enough to let you enjoy the songs without needing to hunt for a pristine copy. After all, it’s the music that counts, and this one delivers it without dressing it up too much.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
