The Seekers- Georgy Girl-LP

The Seekers – Georgy Girl

The Seekers’ Georgy Girl catches the Australian group in the middle of the bright folk-pop sound that made them stand out internationally. The band formed in Melbourne and became the first Australian pop group to achieve major chart and sales success in both the UK and US, giving their records a real place in pop history. Their style leaned upbeat and melodic, more polished than strict folk but gentler than rock, which is a big part of their charm. This is a 1967 vintage vinyl pressing priced at $12, making it an affordable Seekers copy with strong period appeal. The record is graded VG++, meaning the vinyl should be glossy and very clean overall, with only very small light marks, sleeve scuffs, or faint lines expected. For a buyer who wants a clean, accessible vintage copy from the group’s peak era, this one has plenty going for it.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
