Traffic- Shoot Out At The Fantasy Factory-LP

• Format: LP

Shoot Out at the Fantasy Factory finds Traffic steering into a groove that balances their eclectic roots with a focused, acoustic-driven approach. Produced by Steve Winwood and featuring contributions from musicians like Jimmy Johnson and Barry Beckett, the album blends thoughtful songwriting with moments of improvisational flair. Tracks such as "Roll Right Stones" and "Evening Blue" showcase the band's skill at threading melodic lines through laid-back rhythms, offering a listening experience that invites attention without demanding it. This 1973 pressing on Island Records arrives in a format that complements the album’s intimate feel. The vinyl grades at VG+, meaning it carries the usual light surface marks and paper scuffs common for its age but nothing that should overshadow the music. For those who appreciate Traffic’s blend of jazz-tinged rock and acoustic textures, this copy offers a practical way to add a mid-era release to a collection without fuss over rare variants. If you’re wondering where to shelve it, somewhere near your records that like their fantasy grounded in reality won’t be a bad spot.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
