Back to the Egg brings Wings’ late-period pop-rock side into focus, with Paul McCartney, Linda McCartney, and Denny Laine at the center of the band’s sound and identity. Wings were always a little more varied than their radio hits alone suggest, known for commercial success, musical eclecticism, and a lineup that changed around that core trio. The track list includes “Getting Closer,” “Spin It On,” “Again And Again And Again,” and “Old Siam, Sir,” giving this copy plenty of recognizable Wings character.
