Wipers- Follow Blind-LP

Follow Blind captures the Wipers at their fifth studio outing, revealing a clarity in production that’s somewhat rare for punk rock of the era. Produced and recorded by Greg Sage at his own 421 Sound studio in Portland, Oregon, the album lays bare the intricate layers of his guitar work without obscuring the raw energy driving the band. This 1987 pressing reflects a moment when the Wipers balanced their signature punk urgency with a more transparent sonic approach, offering a fresh perspective on their sound. This vinyl pressing carries a VG+ condition, indicating it’s ready for regular play with only minor surface marks or light paper scuffs that won’t overshadow the music. For those who appreciate a record that wears its years without letting them get in the way, this copy fits neatly into a collection or listening rotation. It’s a solid edition for anyone seeking a clear window into the Wipers’ mid-’80s sound, and it’s the kind of album that might just convince you that “follow blind” is advice best taken only with your ears wide open.
