Flip this one over—YES’s *Tormato* from 1978 is a vibrant snapshot of progressive rock at its adventurous peak. The band pushes their signature blend of intricate musicianship and soaring melodies into new, colorful territory here. Don’t miss “Future Times / Rejoice,” a sprawling, dynamic piece that showcases their ability to blend complex rhythms with uplifting harmonies. *Tormato* captures the restless spirit of a group willing to experiment within their lush, symphonic style, making it a rewarding listen for anyone drawn to epic, boundary-pushing rock. Plus, the quirky, iconic album cover is a conversation starter all on its own. Definitely worth a spin.
