Donovan – Catch The Wind

This vintage 1971 pressing of Donovan's *Catch The Wind* on vinyl presents a compilation album originally released in 1986 by Showcase Records. The album features early works by Scottish singer-songwriter Donovan, known for blending folk, rock, and blues influences. Producers Terry Kennedy, Peter Eden, and Geoff Stephens contributed to shaping the sound of these tracks, which include notable songs like "Catch the Wind" and "Colours." Donovan’s songwriting during this period helped define the 1960s folk revival with introspective lyrics and melodic acoustic arrangements. The record is graded VG++, indicating only minimal surface marks and clean, essentially flawless playback. This pressing offers a solid listening experience of Donovan’s influential folk repertoire.
