Eric Carmen’s 1975 debut solo album showcases his knack for blending heartfelt balladry with soft rock sensibilities, highlighted by the memorable “All By Myself” and the catchy “That’s Rock & Roll.” The arrangements, shaped by Carmen himself, weave harpsichord and synthesizer textures alongside his voice, offering a focused listening experience that balances introspective moments with more upbeat tracks like “Sunrise” and “On Broadway.” Producer Jimmy Ienner and engineer Jack Sherdel helped frame this collection in a polished yet intimate sound that fits neatly within a singer-songwriter’s catalog exploring both vulnerability and pop craftsmanship. This vintage pressing from 1975 presents the album on vinyl in a format that invites close attention to its acoustic ensemble feel. While the vinyl shows visible wear and may have some background noise, it remains fully playable, making it a solid choice for anyone interested in hearing Eric Carmen’s early solo work as it was first pressed. It’s the kind of record that quietly reminds you how a pop artist can wear their influences without losing their own voice—just don’t expect it to come with a silent groove.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
