Foghat’s 1975 album Fool for the City showcases the band’s knack for blending focused listening with a tight, acoustic-driven ensemble, shaped under the attentive ear of engineer and producer Nick Jameson. The Bearsville Records release stands as a solid example of mid-70s rock crafted with care, offering a listen that rewards attention without demanding it. This 1975 vinyl pressing comes in a VG+ condition, meaning you can expect minor surface marks or light scuffs typical of regular play but nothing that should interfere significantly with playback. It’s a straightforward presentation on classic vinyl, ready for those who appreciate the era’s production style and the band’s particular brand of rock. If you’re organizing your collection by the company handling the mix as much as the music itself, Nick Jameson’s dual role behind the console adds an extra layer of continuity here—proof that some albums get their groove not just from the stage but from the control room too.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
