Foreigner – Foreigner

Foreigner’s self-titled debut introduced the British-American band on Atlantic in 1977 and put their polished, radio-ready rock approach in place right away. The album became a major calling card for the group, built around big pop-rock hooks, arena-rock scale, and a production team that included John Sinclair, Gary Lyons, Mick Jones, and Ian McDonald. It’s a strong early snapshot of Foreigner before the band became a fixture of late-’70s and early-’80s rock radio. This is a 1977 vinyl pressing priced at $14, making it an affordable copy with good condition appeal. The record is graded VG++, which points to glossy, very clean vinyl overall, with only very small light marks, sleeve scuffs, or faint lines expected. For a vintage copy of a debut album this recognizable, the combination of period pressing and strong vinyl grade is the main reason to move on this one.
