Frank Sinatra- The Dorsey/Sinatra Sessions Volume 2-2xLP

Frank Sinatra – The Dorsey/Sinatra Sessions Volume 2

The Dorsey/Sinatra Sessions Volume 2 gathers Frank Sinatra’s early recordings with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra from 1940–41, catching him in the big-band setting that shaped the start of his career. It’s part of RCA’s three-volume Dorsey/Sinatra series, a focused document of the collaborations that connected Sinatra’s young voice with one of the defining swing orchestras of the era. For anyone who likes Sinatra’s later phrasing, this material is especially interesting because it points back to the big-band foundation underneath it. This is a 1982 vinyl pressing of the RCA compilation, priced at $14.00. At under $15, it’s an affordable Frank Sinatra early-career jazz and swing set with more substance than a random hits package. Both records are graded VG++, a very clean grade with glossy vinyl and only tiny light marks, sleeve scuffs, or faint lines expected.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
