Gorillaz- The Now Now-LP

• Format: LP

Gorillaz's The Now Now offers a streamlined take on their eclectic sound, leaning into more focused listening with a tighter, acoustic-tinged ensemble than some of their sprawling previous work. Damon Albarn and collaborators like Graham Coxon and ABRA help craft an album where tracks such as "Humility" and "Sorcererz" blend catchy melodies with subtle electronic textures, creating a balance between introspection and groove. The record’s production, shared by Albarn, James Ellis Ford, and Remi Kabaka Jr., keeps things crisp and inviting, making it a distinct chapter in Gorillaz’s catalog where less truly feels like more—proof that even an animated band can embrace a quieter moment. This 2018 vinyl pressing arrives sealed, preserving its original freshness for collectors or newcomers alike. The compact format highlights the album’s intimate vibe, and with its clean presentation, it’s ready to slot neatly into any collection without fuss. While the sealed condition means you won’t be able to judge surface noise firsthand, it guarantees the record has remained untouched, a neat way to meet an album that’s all about keeping things straightforward without losing the band’s signature creative spark. If you’re curious about Gorillaz’s quieter side, this pressing offers a clear window.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
