Greg Kihn Band – Next of Kihn

Next of Kihn finds the Greg Kihn Band pushing into a darker, more stretched-out version of their power-pop/new wave rock sound. The band’s third studio album, released in 1978, includes “Remember,” notable for being recorded live in a single take, and “Everybody Else,” co-written by Greg Kihn and Rose Bimler. Matthew King Kaufman and Glen Kolotkin produced the album, giving it a useful place in the early Beserkley-era Kihn story. This is a 1978 GRT vinyl pressing, priced at $10. At under $15, it’s an affordable Greg Kihn Band copy with strong condition appeal. The record is graded VG++, meaning the vinyl is a very clean used copy with only very small light marks, sleeve scuffs, or faint lines expected. For a vintage copy at this price, the high vinyl grade is the main reason to give this one a close look.
