Hank Crawford- Soul Of The Ballad-LP

Hank Crawford – Soul Of The Ballad

Hank Crawford’s Soul Of The Ballad pairs his saxophone with the Marty Paich Orchestra, giving the set a fuller arranged-ballad setting than a small-combo jazz date. Produced by Nesuhi Ertegun, it leans into familiar classic ballad material and shows Crawford in a more polished, orchestral frame, with jazz, blues, and soul all close at hand. This is a 1963 mono vinyl pressing, a nice period-format match for the album’s arranged presentation. At $14, it’s an affordable vintage Hank Crawford copy with useful condition appeal. The vinyl is graded VG+, so expect a strong everyday listening grade with a few light lines, sleeve marks, or small scuffs possible, but not wear that should dominate the music.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
