Little Feat’s Down on the Farm, released in 1979, offers a blend of focused listening with a laid-back, acoustic ensemble feel that highlights Lowell George’s songwriting and Gordon DeWitty’s arranging talents. Tracks like "Down On The Farm" and "Six Feet Of Snow" showcase the band’s ability to mix storytelling with intricate grooves, supported by the steady rhythms of Earl Palmer. The album sits comfortably within Little Feat’s catalog as a nuanced, rootsy statement that resists flashy production in favor of tight musicianship and warm, organic interplay. This vintage pressing from 1979 presents the album on vinyl with a glossy surface showing only minor light scuffs and faint lines typical of careful use, so it’s ready to slot neatly into your collection without demanding special handling. The VG++ condition means the grooves are very clean, making it suitable for listeners who appreciate both the music and a well-maintained record. It’s the kind of record that rewards patient ears—almost like finding a quiet spot on the farm away from the noise of the city.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
