The Doors- 13-LP

The Doors’ compilation album 13 gathers key tracks from their first five studio albums, delivering a broad snapshot of the band’s early work. Notable songs like "Light My Fire," "People Are Strange," and "Roadhouse Blues" showcase the band's blend of psychedelic rock and blues influences, while the cover’s photo of a clean-shaven Jim Morrison offers a glimpse into a different era of the frontman’s image—one that reportedly didn’t sit well with him. Remastered by longtime engineer Bruce Botnick for this 1980s reissue, the album presents these classics with renewed clarity, wrapped in a faithful reproduction of the original artwork and labels. This pressing is a solid choice for those who appreciate vintage reissues that respect the original presentation without unnecessary embellishments. The vinyl itself is in very clean condition, with only minimal light surface marks typical of careful handling, so it’s ready to slot into your collection without hesitation. With its straightforward approach and well-preserved sound, this 13 reissue is a practical pick for fans wanting a reliable, visually authentic edition that lets the music speak for itself. After all, sometimes the best way to enjoy The Doors is simply to let the songs do the talking.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
