Then & Now... The Best Of The Monkees offers a neat snapshot of the band's career, spanning from their 1966 beginnings through to 1970. This collection brings together some of their most memorable tunes like "I'm A Believer," "Last Train To Clarksville," and "Daydream Believer," revealing why their blend of catchy melodies and tight harmonies earned them a spot alongside contemporaries like The Beatles and The Beach Boys. The album leans into focused listening, with an acoustic ensemble feel that highlights the band's knack for accessible pop songwriting without unnecessary frills. This 1986 vinyl pressing presents those classic tracks in a format that suits anyone looking to revisit or discover The Monkees’ sound beyond the TV show fame. Graded VG+, this copy shows light surface marks and minor scuffs typical for its age but remains perfectly capable of delivering enjoyable playback without distracting noise. If you’re placing it on your shelf, you might say it’s a record that’s seen a few good rides but never missed a beat—ready to add a bit of retro charm without demanding special handling.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
