The Rolling Stones – Big Hits
Big Hits (High Tide and Green Grass) was The Rolling Stones’ first compilation album, pulling together the band’s early singles into a compact mid-sixties snapshot. The U.S. version focused on the group’s 1964–65 run and became one of their major early albums, reaching high on the album chart and later earning multi-platinum certification. Its Franklin Canyon Park cover image and gatefold presentation are part of the period appeal, giving the record more visual character than a plain hits package. This copy is a 1966 mono vinyl pressing, which is the kind of vintage Stones format many buyers like for this era. At $12, it is an affordable Rolling Stones copy, with condition priced into the appeal. The record is graded VG-, so expect a well-used disc with more noticeable wear and possible surface noise, but still a worthwhile early Stones compilation at a modest price.
