Three Dog Night’s Joy To The World - Their Greatest Hits gathers some of the band’s most memorable songs, including the exuberant title track and the reflective "Never Been To Spain." The album balances energetic rock with well-crafted pop melodies, showcasing the trio of vocalists—Danny Hutton, Cory Wells, and Chuck Negron—who bring distinct voices to the mix. Produced by Richard Podolor and Jimmy Ienner, the record offers a polished yet lively sound that’s ideal for focused listening sessions or revisiting the era’s classic rock vibe without detouring into excess. This 1975 pressing on vinyl delivers a solid presentation of the band’s mid-70s peak, with a clean surface that shows only minor light scuffs, so it’s ready to spin with minimal distraction. The 12-inch format makes it a straightforward choice for collectors who appreciate a well-maintained classic rock compilation. If you’re curious where to shelve this one, somewhere between your pop-rock essentials and the more laid-back acoustic sets will do nicely—it’s an album that’s as versatile as the band’s vocal lineup, but thankfully without the complexity of a family reunion.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
