41 Original Hits From The Sound Track Of American Graffiti brings together a lively collection of rock and roll staples that defined an era, including "Rock Around The Clock," "Why Do Fools Fall In Love," and "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes." The album reflects the spirit of early 1950s and '60s American youth culture with contributions from producers like Nick Venet and arrangers such as Brian Wilson, whose touches on marimba and xylophone add subtle layers to this focused listening experience. The involvement of musicians like Max Crook on clavioline and Jay Migliori on piccolo and fife enriches the acoustic textures, making this compilation more than just a soundtrack—it’s a curated snapshot of rock & roll’s vibrant roots. This 1980 vinyl pressing offers a solid way to revisit these classics with a clear presentation on MCA 2-8001. The record grades VG++, indicating glossy, very clean vinyl with only minor light scuffs or faint lines that won’t interrupt playback. It's a reliable copy for fans who want to enjoy the soundtrack’s nostalgic energy without hunting for a vintage original. After all, it’s not every day you get to spin a record that doubles as a time machine from the comfort of your own turntable. Various.
