Yes – Close To The Edge

Close To The Edge is the Yes album where the band’s early-’70s progressive rock ambitions stretch out in full, led by the 18-minute “Close to the Edge.” Released in 1972 as the English band’s fifth studio album, it followed the breakthrough of Fragile and reunited Yes with producer/engineer Eddy Offord. The title track’s four-part structure and Siddhartha-inspired lyrics give the record a sense of scale, while “And You and I” and “Siberian Khatru” round out a tightly built three-track album. This is a 1972 vinyl pressing priced at $10, making it an affordable Yes copy with vintage appeal. The record is graded VG+, so expect a solid everyday listening copy with a few light lines, sleeve marks, or small scuffs possible, but not wear that should dominate the music.
