Copy notes: Vinyl has some very faint packaging scuffs, but no scratches.

Wake of the Flood finds the Grateful Dead stepping into a more introspective mood, blending their signature improvisational spirit with quieter, acoustic moments that invite focused listening. Tracks like "Row Jimmy" and "Let Me Sing Your Blues Away" showcase the band’s ability to weave thoughtful storytelling with intricate musicianship, while "Here Comes Sunshine" brightens the set with its warm optimism. Engineered by Tom Anderson and Dan Healy and produced by the band themselves, the album reflects a hands-on approach that balances polished production with the Dead’s organic feel. This 1973 pressing on vinyl offers a solid representation of that era, housed in a straightforward format that lets the music speak for itself without fuss. The record is in very clean condition with a glossy surface showing only minor, light paper scuffs that won’t interfere with playback. It’s the kind of pressing that lets you appreciate the nuances of "Eyes of the World" and the gentle pulse of "Stella Blue" without distraction. If your collection appreciates the quieter corners of the Dead’s catalog, this copy holds its own like a hidden verse waiting to be sung.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
