Johnny Rivers’ 1968 album Realization offers a thoughtful blend of acoustic ensemble arrangements that invite focused listening rather than background noise. Tracks like "Hey Joe" and "Whiter Shade Of Pale" showcase Rivers’ skill as both a guitarist and storyteller, weaving introspective moods with a subtle, earthy sound. The album sits comfortably in his catalog as an exploration of more reflective, less electrified territory, giving it a distinct place for those curious about the quieter side of his work. This vintage pressing from 1968 comes in a condition suitable for regular play, with a VG+ rating indicating some minor surface marks or scuffs that shouldn’t distract from enjoying the music. The vinyl’s state matches the straightforward nature of the album itself—unpretentious and ready to share its insights without fuss. If you’re looking to add a record that rewards attentive listening with a soundtrack that’s both sincere and slightly under the radar, this one fits the bill without making a scene. After all, not every realization needs to shout.

Sound samples are included to help you get a feel for the music, but they may not always match the exact pressing or track version of the record listed. When in doubt, trust the photos and pressing information - that's the actual record you're buying.
