Kansas- Point of Know Return-LP

Kansas’ 1977 album Point of Know Return stands out as a defining moment in their catalog, blending progressive rock ambition with melodies that reached a wider audience. This fifth studio album features “Dust In The Wind,” a track that climbed to No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and remains a staple of classic rock radio. The album’s iconic cover, painted by Peter Lloyd, captures a ship teetering on the edge of a waterfall—an image that’s as memorable as the music itself and hints at the band’s blend of epic storytelling and accessible songwriting. This pressing from 1977 offers a solid vintage snapshot of the album, presented on vinyl that’s glossy and very clean with only minor surface marks typical for its age. It gives you the chance to hold a piece of rock history that balances intricate musicianship with catchy hooks. If your collection has a spot for thoughtful, well-crafted rock that doesn’t shy away from grand ideas, this is a reliable choice without needing to navigate the rapids of less consistent copies.
